My name is Abby – Born and raised Colorado girl, coffee addict, and lover of flowers, farmer’s markets, retro cocktails, the Oxford comma, and anything vintage.
I’m so excited to welcome you to Sweet Rind and Salt! This has been a passion project of mine for a while, and I am so happy to finally make it a reality. I’m delighted to create a space where I can share my love of food, cooking, and home with you!
My grandmother and parents are my biggest inspiration and for as long as I can remember, I’ve loved the warmth and nostalgia of home related things – baking, cooking, decorating, home projects, and general hands-on creating. I took a break from these things for a moment and the distance made me realize how much a part of me they were.
The more I move through adulthood, the more I find myself longing to immerse myself in these things again and just get back to the basics of home. I crave the simplicity of an era before me and strive to get back to the way my parents and grandparents did things. All while incorporating a modern twist.
